Impartation Night

How I came to start this impartation night?

George Jefferies – the firebrand evangelist that brought miracles, signs and wonders to England
The HS was your bus driver
The same HS drove you here.
I know He’s here for the very same purpose.
The Evangelist going has passed on the mantel to the Evangelist coming.
I didn’t get his fire, I already had the baptism and flame of the HS.
But I got something else from him. And this is what I wanna pass on from him.
We do not get the fire from the previous generation. It comes from the original source, Jesus Christ. Otherwise, it’s strange fire.
But we receive something else, like Ps Paul said. It’s the baton of Jesus Christ.
The one He passed on to me.
You’ll walk out with a burning baton!
None of us have copyright anywhere, when it comes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He’s the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
To Him be all the glory!
I pray that all of you here may turn into full time evangelist. Let it not be a side issue. It demands our full concentration and attention.
We are not called to save money.
We’re called to save souls!
We actually spend to save!
Since Jesus gave His all, how then can we be stingy?
I sing, I surrender all, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart
It’s not just the laying of hands as you have it in the past.
The HS will fix you. At that moment, whatever your need is, I believe the HS will fix it.
Paul said to the Corinth church (2 Cor 6), I’ve not restricted you, but you’ve been restricted by your self
In the name of Jesus, all restriction be lifted today!
No restriction, just freedom in Jesus Christ!
Matt 3:11 – He’ll baptise you with the HS and with fire!
John the Baptist baptised people with water. That’s why Christians are wet and cold.
Jesus Christ will stand in a different river. A river of fire!
And this river of fire will pass through this building. I believe
It’ll burn your depression out and whatever plagues you!
It’s an all purpose fire. He doesn’t have 2 kinds of fire. Only 1 kind.
It depends whether you enjoy it or not.
Baptizo used in the trade of dyeing fabrics
He immersed it and left it there for a moment, before slowly pulling it out.
When it’s pulled out, it’s taken on an accepted colour of the dye.
Looks, smelled like it. Totally transformed.
Cloth in the dye and Dye in the cloth.
Now, I’m standing in the river of liquid fire. Jesus is here.
And in a few moments, He will beckon you, and you’ll come.
And now, He will dip you under, into the fire.
You into the fire and then the fire in you!
And then when you come out of the fire, surprise surprise, you look like Fire!
You smell like Fire!
You feel like Fire!
Here we come, ‘In the name of the One that said, all authority has been given to me, on Heaven and on Earth.’
It’s not just something partial. Eg. Vocal chord, or left hand
Your whole personality will be saturated with the fire and personality of the HS
Will be so strong, when you start walking. You keep dripping fire everywhere, and every devil in SG will come under your feet.
The anointing of the Lord with fire anointing has passed this way. Here is enough potential for the whole of Asia and the whole World. Amen?
My prayer is, that every dam wall may break. And God’s river burst and overflow. The river of fire!
Don’t miss your flame just because of unbelief.
Before Jesus ascended, we read that 500 brethren witnessed him. But in Pentecost, there were only 120. What happened to the 380?
They were in the temple. Where the meeting was more predictable. By the program.
It is possible to miss our Pentecost, and that’s a dangerous business.
That doesn’t mean that we always feel the fire. Even though we don’t always feel, we have already received the fire.
eg. If the fastest sprinter drinks coffee with me, does that mean he’ll show his power while drinking coffee? No.
But in the stadium, you’ll see the power!
We’re not meant to see and feel the power, eating cake and drinking coffee. It only becomes visible when we’re in action!
We always pray that we need power, but we don’t do nothing. But ask Him to help in a task, then you’ll feel the power kicking in.
The HS and the power is always there, but it’ll kick in for the purpose it’s given.
I pray from the bottom of my heart, that someone here receives the fire in a way, that he/she becomes a nation shaker. Because your Gospel is a nation changer!
Today, the whole crowd prays in a new tongue, and the Lord says, my Spirit listens.
Some people are always praying, and I believe they’re utterly sincere.
They pray with tears flowing down their cheeks. ‘I want more of you!’
Like a swimmer say when he swims in the Pacific, I want more of the Pacific
In Him we swim and move in God’s blessing.
Let’s not get hung up on drops.
Not just a cup full. I want to swim in His fullness! In Jesus name!
The purpose driven church is part of it.
But the HS driven church is New Testament.
Driven by the HS, with a Holy Purpose.
Your will be done on earth as it in Heaven. In Jesus name!
The (fervent) prayer of the righteous avails much!
One touch of Jesus, blind eyes open, cripples walk, Lazarus comes up from the Grave.
Jesus had to call Lazarus by name . Otherwise, the whole graveyard would come forth.
I’ve seen the HS fall in one meeting on 1 million meeting. And they praised the Lord in new languages as the HS gave them utterance. I’ve got 1 million witnesses!
Don’t be intimidated by all sorts of theological questions!
Follow God’s word. Follow Him. Grab the baton! Your baton will burn! And you’ll see what I’ve seen and much greater things! In Jesus’ name.
I feel the presence of God so powerfully here. I feel Jesus is here to throw His arms around you, right now. And He’ll baptise you. And He’ll put the fire in you. And makes his angels wings, and ministers, flames of fire. (Hebrews)
I want to be such a flame of fire. His fire doesn’t consume us. That’s why we don’t have burnouts. And we continue to burn and burn and burn, until we cross Jordan.

Paralyzed Man Healed

Over five years ago, I came to live at Strasbourg from the city of Lyon where I have my parents. I’ve just knew that I must come and for me it was like for our patriarch Abraham who went to a new destination. It was truly a faith’s move. It wasn’t easy at all at the moment to let everything (parents, friend, neighbourhood,…) behind and step into the unknown which for me was the Alsace region. But thank God I have something to celebrate today and even to sing about gained from this growth process.

I particularly remember when in July 2009, I was considering enrolling on ISOM (International School of Ministry) video courses. At that time the founder of the school, Dr Berin Gilfillan came to our church with a mission team for teaching sessions in various areas. On one of the evening sessions, Dr Berin taught about Mark chapter 2 verses 1 to 12 where Jesus, in front of the scholars who questionned His authority to pardon sins, asked :

Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven’, or to say ‘Get up, and take your mat and walk’ ?

At that evening, Dr Berin said that ISOM is meant for people who are willing to do both : Preaching the forgiveness of sins and Healing the sick.

Let me say to you that I am glad, seven days ago, to say that I have experienced a miracle by laying my hand on a paralyzed man in my city. With a friend (Jonathan Path), we went out to do street evangelism when we saw the paralyzed homeless man laying on the ground with his cane aside. We brought food to him and decided to pray for his leg. I helped him stood up and I command his leg in the Name of Jesus to be restored. He started walking and at the end he needed his cane no more. He was healed by the power of Jesus and started shouting Halleluyahs spontaneously for the Glory of God.

It wasn’t the first time I’ve prayed for a sick and experienced a healing but this time it was a paralyzed man. It reminded me that my faith for this was born when Dr Berin taught on this July 2009 evening. He surely impacted my life in a significant way and then by ISOM courses. May God bless him abundantly so he can continue to be a blessing globally for the body of Christ.

I just want to espress my gratitude here for our Lord who made it possible for this man to walk again. And of course, the most important thing is that, he gave his life to Jesus ! All Hail King Jesus ! All Hail Emmanuel !

Love is a Person

LOVE IS A PERSON

Book of 1st  Corinthians, chapter 13

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

This description of Love compels us to seek humility. It tends to reflect that love is out of our reach but in truth, it is not! Love can be displayed and of course it was displayed at the cross. From, he suffers long to, he never fails; not forgetting he thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity or again bears all things; it is clear that love has a name : Jesus.

When I became a man, I put away childish things

Love is the proof and the sign of our maturity. We need to put on love “lenses” in order to switch seeing dimly, to quit childish behaviors. This is the greatest test. The love “test” applied to all our interactions must be the sole and necessary proof of our maturity. The chapter 14 of the book of 1st Corinthians begins with two words : PURSUE LOVE. It is our primary purpose cause it is the best, complete and greatest gift.

Let’s use an illustration. Considering a tree producing fruits, what is the greatest? The tree or the fruits it produces? When given an opportunity to decide, it is more interesting to choose the tree than to choose the fruits. Let me explain. To put it simple, the fruits are the end results of a tree; in other words, we can say its purpose. Jesus curses a fig tree because it did not bear fruits according to its purpose. The trees produce fruits; just in that order, not fruits bearings trees. It is important for us to seek the Lord and for the Lord to be ours before searching His gifts. We can only bear fruits if the tree is planted in us. LOVE IS THE TREE. Gifts are the fruits. We need to first seek the Lord, to be His, for His Love to possess us.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

To love is our unique acceptable lifestyle purpose so that everything we do pass through the Love filter for us to know if it is a love act.

The Seven last verses of Mark Gospel

The Gospel of Mark, Chapter 16, verses 14-20

Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

THE MEANING OF THE CROSS

The cross makes sense because Jesus our God was lifted up on it. The essence of the cross is Jesus! Jesus is the first essence, the divine essence par excellence.

Jesus had told his disciples that he was going to die and that three days later he would resurrect. The promises of God are yes and amen! And this is exactly what happened. Jesus dies on wood assembled in the form of a Roman cross. This was the most horrible death sentence at the time; the cruelest way to put somebody to death that man had invented at that time. God, dead on a human cross. More precisely, Jesus was crucified, which means that his hands and feet were pierced with nails after he had gone through public whippings and flagellations. In love, Jesus chose to go through all this. What impressed me when I watched again a few months ago the movie The Passion of the Christ was that as Jesus carried his cross on the way to be crucified, he came to a place where he was crushed to the ground, but amidst the blows, he kissed his cross and got up again, carrying it. Jesus loved carrying the cross or he wouldn’t have done it. Those he loved made him go through cruelty and shame. He was publicly stripped, slapped, whipped to the bone, insulted, pierced, accused, mocked, and left to die un a rustic cross under the weight of the pain: you know, the only thing that really impresses God is Jesus’ death on the cross. Mocked although he was the King of kings, powerless, he was the all-powerful, unable to save himself, he was the Savior of all men, and crying out in despair, he put all his confidence in God the Father, surrendering himself into his hands. Jesus tasted Hell; He went there to destroy death on its own turf. We are no longer called to be in a position of defense, but of attack like Jesus our great Victor has showed us. Jesus destroyed the sting of death, meaning sin. From that perspective what’s happening here is joyful, only it wasn’t on that day. The morning of the resurrection some women went to the grave with perfumes and spices. It is like today when we go put flowers on a grave. They were going to honor Jesus’ body and there were several obstacles on their way: The Roman guards guarding the entrance and the big stone blocking it. It was dark, and yet they had the courage to go; moved by their love for Jesus! Perhaps right now you want to honor the body of Jesus, which is the church. To put it simply, the church is your neighbor, the one you see. The mission of bringing the Gospel to the world sees many obstacles. In the face of human insufficiency, poverty, disease, risk, isolation, sin, false moral values, the attraction of money, and even difficulties in the church, people who do not have pure motives, let us do as these women, let us go out, moved by love and gratitude to Jesus. By faith, the great obstacles will fall and we will see Jesus manifest and show himself.

BELIEVE

In the first of the seven verses (v14), Jesus reproaches the eleven disciples. Why? Jesus appeared to the women and also told them through an angel that the eleven should come join him in Galilee. Interesting: Galilee was not unknown territory for the eleven. They all came from there; it was their home. It was Jesus’ region and also theirs (Jesus had chosen eleven people from his own region and a twelfth who was not from that region, Judas). Also, two other people had traveled with Jesus that very same day and went to tell the eleven. Does it not surprise you that the eleven still stayed indoors? They were disobeying what Jesus had told them to do. Maybe Jesus had planned a big surprise party with angels as stewards. Or something grandiose where he would give them the Holy Spirit right away. We really don’t know what Jesus would have done if they had obeyed right away. Maybe God is telling you to do something now using different people, including me, I hope. Believe God even if you don’t understand because it’s through believing that you’ll find true meaning! Don’t wait until you’re in the right place or in the mood before believing. That place that you know so well: God wants to meet you there, to see you obey Him as soon as possible. When God speaks, we must move right away! In the end, Jesus came to talk to them in their room. He reproached them their disbelief, their lack of faith, and gave them the solution right away: Go and preach that I was dead and now I live, and in the same way I can give life to those who believe in me. In the end it becomes, “You were disbelieving, so now go and tell others what you didn’t believe at fist. And if you obey and go, you will drive out demons, speak in tongues, pick up snakes, if you drink poison it will not hurt you, and you will heal the sick.” It was an order, not a suggestion. The wonderful thing is that this time they obeyed right away. This is the key to making the Kingdom of God grow.

GROWTH

In the seventh and last verse of this passage (v20), we learn that they

went to preach everywhere. Notice that they went everywhere. Everywhere means in every place or in many places, in all directions. Everything we do should come from the way we’ve felt the cross. Our soul must receive the impressions of Jesus’ experience on the cross in order to act on it; delicately and instinctively appreciate the beauty of Jesus’ work on the cross. The Gospel must go everywhere and there find its place and ground. They did not stay in the room. In the same way, on the day of Pentecost, they did not say to each other, “Oh, let us keep the Holy Spirit and these tongues of fire to ourselves, let us stay here and pray and praise God for ten hours.” They made a lot of noise and went outside. They went everywhere, everywhere, everywhere! You might also say everyone, together they went, preached, and the Lord worked with them, confirming their words with signs! I think the best way to grow spiritually is by speaking to others about the Good News; Jesus Himself has given us an example by training his disciples directly in the field, showing them how to do the job. I also deeply believe that the main reason why the Holy Spirit came was for the Gospel to be proclaimed, for people to believe and be saved. The first time He came, 3,000 people came to believe through a single sermon! If no one comes to believe, geniuses mean nothing and if no one comes to believe, Jesus will not come back. And more and more people will go to Hell. I cannot imagine that the greatest party will take place in Hell so Satan can be happy, saying that he has the most souls, the most people, with him. No, I think the greatest party will be in Heaven! The coolest party with the coolest people will be in Heaven with Jesus, with as many people as possible. Jesus said there is more joy in Heaven because of one sinner who comes to believe. Today we all agree that as believers we are called to praise Jesus, worship leaders are in and that is great! Did you know that an evangelist is like a worship leader in Heaven? He makes the angels dance and stirs up a party in Heaven every time he sees results. We can praise God here and also cause praise in Heaven through conversions. Isn’t that wonderful? My dear friends, God’s

riches are not counted in Euros or in Dollars, but in souls. God our Father has just one kind of wealth: the souls of men. And I want my Father to stay rich because when he is rich, I am rich. My Father’s riches are my riches! Maybe you are thinking, “Didn’t Jesus say that broad is the way that leads to destruction and narrow the way that leads to life and that only few find it?” Yes, He said that, and just after saying it, he went and stood in the middle of the broad way in a cross as if to say, “Look at me, stop, I love you, follow my gaze, I save, you can live now!”

I want to conclude this message with the death of my father: I went to Togo in the summer of 2008 to visit him and I learned that he was sick. My priority was to make sure He had become a Christian. He said he had but I wanted to make sure. So on his bed I showed him the way of salvation and I understood later that he really was saved and that he had an inner strength that really impressed me. We spent several weeks together since my stay was prolonged. He was not afraid of death and he passed on a lot of his inner strength to me during these weeks before his death. And I know that I will see him again.

I would encourage you to look at those who do believe as one of your loved ones on their deathbed. You need a sense of urgency to evangelize because the moment they stop living it is certainly and definitely Hell that awaits them.

In the city of Strasbourg, about 80 people die every week. Most of them go to Hell. If they were all Christian, our church meetings would be for nothing. They are taking the perilous jump into Hell without a parachute. Our parachute is Jesus! The meaning of Jesus is: TO SAVE MEN.

How can we speak that Name without thinking about that? We’ve received the key, the power to introduce people to Jesus, and that is the greatest act of love we can show them.

That is the practical meaning of the cross.

God bless you!
