Taking the Gospel from Dakar to Djibouti

I’m Ehonam Hamenou, an ordained evangelist called to preach Christ where He has not yet been named, across the Sahel and French-speaking Africa.

Why the Sahel

More than 3 billion people have little or no access to the Gospel

Most of the world’s least-reached peoples live in the 10/40 Window, the band between 10 and 40 degrees north that stretches from North Africa to Southeast Asia. Senegal, and especially the interior around Kaolack, lies within it.

Yet for every 30 cross-cultural workers sent to peoples who have already been reached, only one goes to the unreached.

Portrait of Ehonam Hamenou

About

Ehonam Hamenou

Born in Togo, I gave my life to Jesus at twelve. After seasons of hardship, God’s peace found me, and the revelation of His love on the cross changed everything.

Today I serve as an elder and evangelist in my local church in Strasbourg, lead The Cross Love, co-founded Salvation for the Nations, and lead crusades in West Africa hand in hand with local churches.

Testimonies

What others say

Translated from French.

“I have known Ehonam for seven years and, as a friend, I can testify that he lives a true relationship of intimacy with God. Everyone who has come close to him knows that his dearest desire is to please Him. His passion is to serve others and to bring souls to Jesus, whatever the cost.”

Bernard de Bézenac
Founder of “Vis Libre”, missionary and translator

“Ehonam has a heart and a passion for God. He shares his calling and encourages others to live out their own destiny. It is not easy to find your way with an incomplete address. But along the way we are transformed, guided, and sometimes corrected. This man does not cheat. He walks by faith, holding to the demands of truth.”

Pierre Yeremian
Former hospital consultant, president of the NGO Inter Développement et Solidarités
